Cameron rejected offer from UKIP

In an exclusive for the Times Lord Pearson, the newly elected leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP), said that UKIP had approached the Conservative Party with an offer. This was that, if the Tories pledged to hold a referendum and give its politicians a free vote on whether to accept the Lisbon Treaty or not, UKIP would disband and its members stand down. After their successes at the European Elections Lord Pearson said he approached the Conservative leader in the Lords, Lord Strathclyde, on behalf of Nigel Farage with the offer. The Albion Alliance is formed

A new pressure group called the Albion Alliance has been formed. This group are working towards becoming the focal point  for all those who feel that the current system is letting us down by not listening to and reacting to the wishes of the people who live in this country, especially with regards to the European Union as it stands today. It is being publicised via their website where they have started to stimulate the debate.

An Afternoon With Libertarian Party Leader Ian Parker-Joseph

As I drive towards the house of the Libertarian Party leader I don’t know what quite to expect seeing as this is my first meeting with a political party leader. I am intrigued by the notion of libertarianism however I am also not sure that I am a libertarian and I need to clarify a few questions I have on what the Libertarian Party is all about.
