Scottish public relations agency Holyrood Partnership scooped five awards at the PR industry Oscars in Edinburgh last night.

The agency's work on behalf of clients, including catering giants, wind farm developers and sports tournament organiser, saw the Edinburgh PR agency nominated seven times in the Pride Scotland Awards.

Staff at the ten strong PR firm celebrated when they scooped a total of three gold and two silver accolades at the ceremony in Edinburgh's Assembly Rooms, organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

Scott Douglas, co-founder of Holyrood Partnership, said the success was a direct result of the agency's focus on convincing companies how effective communication delivers clear business benefits

He said: "This was a great result for our team and a recognition of all the hard work they put in delivering excellent results on behalf of our varied clients.

"It is also a fantastic endorsement of what we believe – that well told stories should be at the heart of every business. When those positive stories are well told to the right audience, it not only boosts the bottom line, it helps make better places to work.

"The team are relentless in their pursuit of the story, which in turn has the most impact for our clients.

"We've achieved some phenomenal results for our clients over the last year so we're delighted that this has been recognised by the CIPR."

The team struck gold for best Low Budget Category for its work with Indian Restaurant chain Kushi's, Best Community Relations Campaign for its work with property and renewable energy firm The Banks Group and Best Sporting Campaign for its work on the European Championships event for American giant US Kids Golf.

The hat-trick of wins were reinforced by silver awards for Best Use of Media Relations, for its client The Scottish Business Resilience Centre, and Corporate and Business Communication Campaign of the year for its work with Sodexo Prestige.

Scott added: "We get a lot of great feedback form our clients, which reinforces our strategy, but also continues to shape what we do.

"I'd like to thank all our clients for their continued support and the team at Holyrood for working so hard to deliver these award winning results."
