Review of david Icke's "Human Race Get Off Your Knees: The Lion Sleeps No More"

In his book "Human Race Get Off Your Knees: The Lion Sleeps No More", David Icke ( explores his theories and predictions about  the human race in depth. Since 1990, Icke has been committed to exploring and exposing the truths about the world, questioning the nature of reality and existence, and sharing his message with his growing legions of fans.

The main theme of the book is 'those in the shadows', the people David Icke believes are controlling and manipulating society towards their own ends. These people operate cloaked within secret social networks and exert an influence over all areas of our society, including media and politics. Often dismissed as being 'New Age', Icke has managed to break through the ridicule that was directed at him, and this book is yet another example of his work that is now being picked up by those who once laughed at his ideas.

The book begins with the bold statement that David Icke is not, in fact, David Icke. He writes that “We are not our bodies, nor even our mind. These are vehicles that allow us to experience the virtual-reality universe, a fantastically advanced version of the Internet in many ways, as we shall see". This statement forms the basis of Human Race Get Off Your Knees as it explores consciousness and the concept that our minds are simply a computer system connecting us to our bodies.

The book then delves into the area that Icke has weathered the most criticism for: the idea that there are evil bloodlines that aim to keep humanity in the dark.  The reptilian aspect is often brought up in interviews with Icke, and the book goes on to discuss the nature of the Reptilians from the constellations Draco and Orion who are here to possess the higher bloodlines and who feed on our energy. Reading like an intense science fiction novel, the book explains how these reptiles have continually travelled across space and manipulated humans for thousands of years through alien abductions.

The book isn't all doom and gloom. Although Icke lays out the framework for the evil dictatorship that has been established to enslave us all, he still has a positive message about the future of humanity. He believes that people should not look for 'what's in it for me', but instead should concentrate their energies on doing what is right above all else. Regaining our true nature would be no mean feat in Icke’s world, but he leaves us with a thought-provoking idea. “When we realize we are all One – and act upon that with courage, love, kindness, peace and empathy for all who need support – the walls of oppression must fall”.

In summary, Human Race Get Off Your Knees: The Lion Sleeps No More is a fascinating journey through some of David Icke's more controversial theories and concepts. A must-read for anyone looking at the very basis of humanity and the connection between mind and body.
