A unique opportunity to buy a brand new luxurious €4.5 million fully-furnished four-bedroom, four-bathroom chalet in Méribel, the French Alpine ski resort as popular in July as January, has come on to the market in time for occupation in the forthcoming ski season.
Chalet Apsara was designed and built by MGM, better-known in the UK for the leaseback apartments it constructs and sells in ski resorts across the region.
The property is designed in a traditional style, combining the use of local timber and stone with state-of-the-art lighting and contemporary bathrooms. Sanitaryware is by French designer Philippe Starck and the latest kitchen appliances are from KitchenAid. Walls are finished in a mix of old timber and stucco with floors featuring granite tiles and grey parquet.
Arranged on three floors – one is a mezzanine – totalling 390 sq metres, the chalet incorporates a fitness room, Jacuzzi and ski store.
Underfloor heating is provided by the use of geothermal energy extracted from rocks beneath the property.
Externally a spacious terrace and balcony both provide panoramic views of the Tarentaise Valley. The property includes parking spaces for four cars.
A virtual tour of Chalet Apsara is available at http://youtu.be/Hsbt-XIQ5Wc
