Forces loyal to the Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi have opened fire on ambulances preventing them from reaching wounded protesters leaving them to bleed to death on the streets.
Tripoli's residents have been warned that anyone out on the streets will be shot on sight but still the protesters defy the Libyan forces threats and take to the streets.
According to an opposition activist and a Tripoli resident, bodies litter the streets of one Tripoli's most resistant neighbourhoods after forces loyal to Gaddafi opened fire in a massacre of civilians.
There have also been reports that military aircraft have opened fire against protesters but this has been denied by the despotic regime which says the military aircraft only fired on army bases which had defected to the opposition however the denial is to be taken with a pinch of salt seeing as it came from Gaddafi's son, Saif al-Islam.
Gaddafi made an appearance on television to prove that he was still in Libya and still in charge, although he did look like a cross between the actor Charles Bronson and Mary Poppins sitting inside a small vehicle with an umbrella poking out so it could have been anyone.
Also his speech was rather short unlike his other inane/insane speeches which can last for hours, which seemed odd but then again if he is still in Libya he is probably trying to keep a low profile in public, after all many army units, fighter pilots and ambassadors are turning against him.
Tony Blair and the Labour Government regarded the Libyan regime as and ally and a friend and assisted it in releasing a convicted terrorist by helping them understand the mechanisms which would release the supposedly dying Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi on compassionate grounds.
This was done to secure British trading interests with Libya.
Even if we didn't ask for it, we in Britain all have blood on our hands. But some have more blood than others Tony Blair.
