Jade Goody's 22 year old widower and his friend have been acquitted for the charges of rape at trial. The jury at Snaresbrook Crown Court took just 15 minutes to consider their verdict before reaching their decision.
The Rape was meant to have taken place at Jack Tweed's home in Woodford Green last September. Tweed has denied these allegations throughout his trial.
The other man accused of raping the teenager is Anthony Davis who was also found not guilty.
Jack just wants to move on now and try and rebuild the rest of his life and, in a statement read by his solicitor, he said "I want to put the last eight months behind me and rebuild my life as a 22 year old man".
He has been found innocent by law so leave him to try to carve a new life for himself.
The evidence of the trial suggests that sometimes being famous is not what you bargained for, as Jack Tweed has just found out, I bet he wishes he could just slam the door on the world.
Good luck lad.
