Lindsay Lohan, who is on a charge of theft for stealing a $2,500 necklace, has pleaded not guilty at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Wearing a white dress (some reports have word that the colour was chosen to represent innocence), the 24 year old actress was charged with felony grand theft and her next hearing will be on the 23rd of February.

Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz gave Lohan a stark warning saying "I'm trying to put this as polite as possible. You're in a different situation now that a felony has been filed against you. You now have a pending felony case. If you violate the law, I will remand you and set no bail" and "Look around this room. Everybody else has to follow the law. You're no different than anyone else. So please, don't push your luck".

And the bail was not exactly cheap either.

Her Bail price was set at $40,000 then her 2007 probation violation was set at $20,000 and to top it off a fee of $20,000 for the theft of the necklace and apparently she is prepared to pay this.

Bloomin' Norah…..this girl has either no luck or just attracts disaster. What I want to know is why she is a celebrity.
