It's the news that many Take That fans have been waiting for since Robbie rejoined his old band mates for their forthcoming album 'Progress'.
Just one day after Take That were inducted into the Q Hall of Fame, the news is Robbie will join Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald for the tour to include dates in Britain and then later European dates.
The five piece Take That kicking off in the Sunderland Stadium of Light on May 30th will include four nights at the city of Manchester Stadium, Cardiff Millennium Stadium and Four nights at Wembley Arena.
The band have not as yet released the theme of the tour but Gary Barlow has said it will be a big production, which leaves the mind boggling as to what a big production will entail after their huge Circus Tour production.
However there are no plans as yet for the band to play Glastonbury next year.
Robbie will also perform songs from his solo career with his band mates which should bridge some of the gaps if Robbie is also going to perform songs from the two post Williams Take That albums.
The new album will be launched on the back of their new single 'The Flood' to be released next month with the new album set for release on the 22nd of November.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 9am.
Here is a teaser of the upcoming Take That tour.
Great Video to a great song.
