Launches new platform and products

Online investment service provider Willis Owen has today announced a new pricing structure as it launches its new platform. The platform gives customers access to an improved suite of services including an ISA and Junior ISA but also SIPPs and General Investment Accounts (GIAs).

This means that for investors with both large and small pots the savings can be substantial, making Willis Owen's new platform among the most competitive in the market.

Jason Chapman, Managing Director at Willis Owen, said:

"The new platform makes us one of the most competitive investment service providers in the UK. Those with larger pots will benefit from lower rates for the amounts they hold over £50,000, £100,000 and £250,000.

"However, value is not just measured in price. Our customers rate the level of service they get from us very highly. For both new and returning customers, the new Willis Owen online experience is clean, uncluttered, and backed up on the telephone by our excellent customer services team."

Under the new pricing structure total platform fees are as follows:

The new platform offers Willis Owen customers access to funds, shares, ETFs and investment trusts, as well as the option to trade equities and funds.  Customers also have access to Willis Owen's comprehensive range of research and portfolio valuation tools.

Jason Chapman added:

GBP Investing freefoto.com"More and more people are researching, testing and then buying financial products online. However, only those with a decent understanding of the products and the online process have found this an easy journey so far. To the rest, providers just look complex and boring.

"We want to change this. A new platform, more competitive pricing and a deeper  breadth of solutions is not the end of a process but the beginning.

"We are helping customers through these changes with a revamped landing page which explains the new offering. From there, it is a simple journey for customers to establish which product wrapper is right for them, and then which investment instrument."

The new Willis Owen platform is powered by Pershing Securities Ltd, with the new ISA, SIPP and GIA products provided by Avalon Investment Services Ltd. Quai Administration Services powers the integration between Willis Owen, Pershing and Avalon – allowing customers access to a range of products (ISA, SIPP, GIA) and investment instruments (funds, shares, ETFs and Investment Trusts).
